Leah the talker

Hi all.

I know I always write about funny things Leah says, but she is also such a talker-talks NON-STOP.

Does that remind you of her oldest sister? ;)

Anyway, little Leah will just from one subject to the next, to the third, etc. She does not stop talking when she starts!

Today I wrote down some of the things she was saying.

Andrew was eating a hotdog and said that it was hot. Leah said, "Andrew, just blow on it. See if it works." (He says okay, and blows) Before he has a second to dip it in she continues on saying "now dip it into the ketchup see if it works. Does it work?" She just went on saying this as I was writing-not giving Andrew a chance to answer her. (When I was writing this on my phone, I was remind of wow she is a lot like me-such a commander-and I thought I gained that skill because I was the oldest girl in the family ;) maybe I was wrong...

Right after that she turns to me with hands on her hips (really) and said, "You don't have a boyfriend?" I said, "No Leah, why are you asking, do you have a boyfriend?" She said, "I'm asking because you don't have a boyfriend (sometimes her answers don't make sense! and umm I don't have a boyfriend-no my boyfriend is Andrew." This reminds me, one time randomly she said to Andrew, "Andrew, if you want to marry me you have to grow up."

Earlier today she was eating ice cream and randomly says, "Lesya, I need to buy a car seat when I grow up because I am going to have three babies, so they need car seats and I am going to buy some because I am going to have three babies (yes, she even repeats herself sometimes). She is so funny...I wonder if this has to do with the fact that my grandpa brought her a little doll from Ukraine and it was a little basket/car seat. When she got it she said, "I am going to go outside to take the baby for a walk!" I saw her outside walking and then going on the playground with the doll =)

Also, today her shorts looked funny (she is in this stage where she changes alllllll the time!) and puts together the funniest outfits although she does ask me if it matches oftentimes. My dad and I were kind "laughing" about it. She knew that we were smiling about her shorts and immediately ran upstairs, onto the bed, and starts crying!" She always does this when we say something about her that isn't to her liking.

Also she calls our dad, daddy all the time... today my dad said, "Leah, call me Tato"... so she said it a few times.

I bought her a new shirt today. She said, "did you also buy me pants?" I told her no, sorry, but last time I bought you pants (I got cute red skinny jeans for her then) and she pretended to be so sad. She does that too.

"Side note"- isn't her name just sooo pretty! It seems like such a fitting name for her-I don't know why I feel that way.

I just love this little girl sooo much!! Sometimes I still can't believe I have such a little sister who is so cute, funny, and smart! She's the "dream" little sister, who came with attitude on the side ;)

Blessings,
Lesya
