Hi all.
I thought I should get on here to write about what I have been doing. Once in a while when I look through my posts I say to myself, why didn't I blog more during that time...what was I doing then...but these summer days are soo wonderful, yet so busy! I am hardly by my computer-which is why it's easier to blog during the semester. I'm always on the laptop.
Anyways...
It's one of my summer goals to try a different cake recipe every weekend. (I started this 3 weeks ago, but last weekend my mom wanted to make her cake, so I didn't make anything). I'll share with you the cake recipes that are worth sharing!
I've also really been interested in food photography-not actually doing it myself, but just looking at photos. It's so interesting how creative people are! Something to consider for a future food blog ;) This picture was just me being silly at my aunt's house-definitely an amateur-wasn't really trying to practice food photography with my camera phone!
There was also Kid's Camp all of last week. Oh how much I loved my kids!!! I have the best class at camp-I'm serious. They are the greatest group of kids. Camp was truly blessed again this year.
I came over my cousin's house last week one night after kids camp. I love that I'm close with my married cousins. Their little boy is a handful but so CUTE!! I hope, unlike me who isn't really close with 2nd cousins, my kids will be close with their 2nd cousins, or the children of my cousins. (I can imagine Irina Gorch. thinking-no thanks, I don't want my children to play with yours. I've already had to put up with you as a 1st cousin, don't want my children to go through that).
Tanya and Diana came from their missionary trip to Russia. I basically invited myself over because I wanted to hear all about it! And they even prepared a lovely feast for an uninvited guest. Ha! Nonetheless, we had a good time; although don't we always when we're together.
Blessings,
Lesya
