Natasha's Taco Dip

Hi everyone.

For our family Christmas celebration/gathering my cousin Natasha brought in a really good Taco Dip appetizer. I had been looking for a good one and this one was just that.

I brought it in for our girls cell group/Bible study group and they all loved it! Great for any party.
What you'll need:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 pound ground beef

1 envelope taco seasoning
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
4 cups shredded lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 medium green pepper, diced
Tortilla chips

Directions:
In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
Spread on a 12- to 14-in. pizza pan or serving dish. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
In a saucepan over medium heat, brown beef; drain. Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Cool completely. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate.
Just before serving, sprinkle with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and green pepper.
Serve with chips.

Lesya

Buffalo Chicken Bites

Hi everyone.

I'm pretty bad at posting recipes...so I will try to post more and share with y'all what I cooked or baked.
I made these Buffalo Chicken Bites last week and actually took pictures during the process :)

Here goes...

Combine:
3 cups shredded cooked chicken
Hot sauce (to taste) I used about 1/4 cup
4 oz (1/2 pkg cream cheese) I doubled the recipe so hope that explain the picture
2 cups cheddar cheese

Form them into mini balls

The next step requires a little brother to roll them into flour. He was so excited when I said, "yes you can actually help me" (You need about a cup of flour, probably less)

Then beat 4 eggs, and dunk the floured balls into them.

Finally the cornflakes cereal (4 cups)...roll them into these...next time I think I will try bread crumbs or some thing similar to corn flakes. I think they can be even better with something else!

Off they go into a preheated 350 degree oven for 20-25 min.
Enjoy these with cucumbers, celery, ranch, blue cheese dressing or hot sauce.
I think these make a great appetizer.
They are delicious! (Well, in my opinion after I had a few taste testers agree)

Blessings,
Lesya
