Victor's Birthday

Hi all.

I haven't been posting frequently, and not for lack of time, but I don't even know. Sometimes you just don't feel like it. Yesterday I sat down to write a post and could not write...regardless, a lot has been going on!
To backtrack...

Victor turned 9 on March 11th!

We celebrated this past Saturday.
We had cookie cake-did not realize my mom would want to make such an "American" option-although on the other hand I should not be surprised. Anyway, the kids loved it and I think we will be making cookie cake more often for "kid-friendly" events.
Victor with his three best buds! These boys have soo much energy but I loved watching them play together and hope that they will always remain good friends. They are all basically related :) and born within 7 months of each other.
 A little about Victor...
He is such a bright boy-meaning smart. He effortlessly gets good grades, he's not lazy-everything just comes easily for him. Some of the vocab and terms he knows and uses just surprise me. He is so knowledgeable.
He has such a good heart and is so caring. Recently Mark told my mom that if she is going to be stressed she is going to get cancer. Victor went to my mom and was hugging her and almost crying. We had to assure him that mom wasn't really stressed and not to worry. Sweet thing. On the other hand, Lena had no reaction when she overheard this conversation. The other day he asked our mom if she was stressed and you can just see how much he cares! Another thing is that he was willing to give all of his $80 to Lena for her Vera Bradley. I asked why and he said because she wants the book bag. Such a sweet kid!

I'm not sure what he want's to be when he grows up-will have to ask and write that down here. (Update: I asked, he said a software computer technologist or a lumberjack! ha!) He is such a tough boy though, so strong and has this masculine build-if that makes sense. He is also such an easy child. You tell him to go to sleep, he goes. He is very independent-he's always been like that though. Right now he loves his pillow pet my mom got him for his birthday. He also got a fishing pole from Roman which he was very excited about!

And because a post isn't a post without the mention of Leah or Andrew...
I came home from school one day and Leah was on her bike in this fine weather. I loved to see that she had a "pony tail." I think this was her official first one. It looked so small, but soo cute!  She has been saying such funny things lately but I can't remember any at the moment! Before I forget about Andrew, one day he asked my dad to explain why he was painting something or how to paint,  (something along those lines) my dad would explain, Andrew would ask again, my dad reexplained (3 times) then the 4th my dad is like Andrew why are you asking the same thing-Andrew started laughing (he basically asked over and over again on purpose)! What a silly child. He also says "when I'm in Kindergarten I am going to skip school." He thinks that's the "cool" thing to do-you can tell he's grown up with many other siblings!
Blessings,
Lesya
