Hi everyone!
Hope everyone's week is off to a good start.
I have to say, this has been such a wonderful school break for me (regardless of the many dress shirts I have to iron for the boys/dad). We can't keep up with the ironing because, well if you're in a big family you know. It's all about priorities and you just can't keep everything running perfectly. I am determined to get rid of this pile or at least try. I have been working hard but I have other things I'm doing also.
Moving on....this Monday we had a meeting regarding how the New Years Youth "Event" went. After listening to everything said, I came to love what the Pastor said at the end: a wise man listens to what someone has to say (without interrupting) and then speaks; only fools interrupt.
I liked that reminder.
We also enjoyed Diana's buffalo wing dip and my "Banana Bread" well I turned it into Banana muffins with Cranberries, during Coffee House before youth. I really miss helping out with it. I do not know why I like it but I wish I had the time help Diana out more with it, not that she needs me, but I just miss it.
Today I just had a wonderful day at home. Don't you love and become so thankful for the "good days" but with the bad- oh it's so hard to be happy and thankful. One thing I learned is that when I focus/dwell on God and heavenly things the days are so much brighter, no matter the problems you encounter that day. I hope y'all know what I mean.
The next few days...tomorrow we have my dad's missionary is coming to stay with us for a few days
we have our small group choir...
I am hoping to make Tiramisu...have been craving it...
and by Saturday my car should be fixed for good! If the paint job was done right the first time, I could have been driving it by now. Oh well. I am just so thankful to have it back. Thank you Dad for fixing it and working on it for hours without complaining.
Speaking of dad...it was his birthday on Monday. I didn't do a post because, well I know he wouldn't appreciate it (not that he knows that these posts exist) but I have to say that I love my father. He is so good to me. I don't even know how to describe him but that I am so thankful for him and love him so very much. His actions truly show his love for his family and especially me ;)
Blessings,
Lesya

You've made tiramisu before??? How'd it turn out?? That's (one of my many) FAVORITE dessert!!! Please make a post regarding this! Also, I love your sense of humor! "Not that he knows these posts exit" I know what you're talking about here ;) hehe. Happy birthday to your dad, you're a good daughter and person overall. God bless you!!!! Oh and pastor's advice, good indeed! Glad you highlighted that for me, something I need to dwell upon!!
