Preschool Lunch

(Blogger is being really silly tonight, so disregard the strange format)

Just like last year, last Thursday we had a Christmas brunch. One of the preschool teacher's hosts it because she is just such a great cook!

As expected, the food was just so good. I will be adding some new recipes to my collection.
The host and I. Her family reminds me of a "perfect Christian family." I know no family is perfect, but their kids are great, they are in ministry-her husband serves as a youth pastor, they make family time a priority and Jesus is truly in the center of their family. They have it all together in other words.

We also do what we call "grab bags." We bring in something homemade and pick a bag.

This was what was in my grab bag. A "homemade" no-sew scarf and peppermint chocolate bark in cookie cutters. It was soo good.

Later that night, we went out to celebrate my cousin Yulia's 21st birthday. We had a good time at a little Italian cafe. In between these celebrations I was able to do some shopping for New Years and then for Mexico. Life seems to always be so busy-even if it's school break.
