I hope everyone has had a blessed Christmas.

Leah and her gifts insisted I take a picture of her before they headed to the family party. Leah has been loving me so much lately! I don't know why but I sure do appreciate it as she has never acted "lovely" towards me.

I did not go to the family party. I totally did not follow my "family first" rule. I sorta regret it, but caroling was such a blessing! We went to the Open Door Mission to sing to the people there which made it all worth it. Of course, I have wonderful friends who always make everything fun :)

My sister took this photo-as you can see it is very blurry. This Christmas I am thankful for the patience these siblings teach me especially in the past few days. The house has been loud and they are always making messes and pretty much enjoying their Winter break. Today I prayed God would give me strength to react calmly with them because they have been "off the walls!" But of course, I love them and am thankful to be in such a large family-although sometimes I wonder why God thought I could handle being the eldest girl amongst many boys and little sisters because I don't know if I'm as capable as other girls who are in big families (if that makes any sense).
Blessings,
