Who was I kidding?

Hi all. 

So...I am taking a litter little break from writing my paper right now...
Thank you Diana for noticing that litter break typo! I thought I would leave my typo up so y'all can have a little laugh. Diana texted me and boy did it make me laugh out loud in class!

So last Monday morning I prayed about what is in store for me for the summer. I wasn't sure if my Brockport summer job was going to work out, so I just prayed about it and was totally fine with not working. 

I even had some plans in mind....

I would spend a lot of time with the kids

Like go to water parks, the zoo, the playground, library, the mall (for Lena!) I thought it would be so fun to have weekly activities to do with them-something different every week.

I thought I would get back into sewing-well I was never really into it but you know do it for fun, maybe improve along the way? :) via

Cook, try out my many new bookmarked recipes that would fill every day of the summer months. via

Focus on my one summer course in June-not worry about working and doing well in the summer course. I also planned on buying/finding educational resources on different topics for teachers on teaching, classroom management, students, assessment, etc etc etc. I want to be as knowledgeable as I can in my field. Lol.  via

I had other things on my list such as organize, clean, etc etc. you get the idea...I had fun summer plans. Yes all these things like cleaning are enjoyable for me. I'm strange interesting like that.

Anyway, all that changed when I received a text message....

(I will leave it at that to create some suspense. Just kidding, I really need to get back to my paper. My goal is to finish it by morning so I will continue during another writing break. Lol.)
