Andrew's Song and Preschool Playing

Hi all :)

I came home Monday night from babysitting, and heard Andrew singing in the family room. I came in there and he stopped, so I said, "keep singing! I want to hear more." I asked him to please sing for me and that I would go to the kitchen so that he would not feel embarrassed. And sure enough he sang...
I listened on and on and then realized that I should write some of it down. I started writing when he was almost done but here it goes:

"Oh Jesus why do you give me too much?
Your greatness is in my heart.
I love you like the stars in the sky.
Oh Jesus (x5-I'm guessing this was the chorus to the song ;))"

When I asked if he was done he said, "Yes. My everything hurts."

He was singing so loudly and it was so wonderful to listen to a  four year old boy singing about Jesus. For those of you who don't have little siblings you sure are missing out! ;)

And another happening in the life of Andrew...
You know those days when you come home and have a written plan in your mind of what you are going to do? Well it was one of those days but as soon as I walked into the house Andrew said "Lesya, lets play preschool." Teach me more letters. So as busy as I was I had to "play preschool" with him. He spread his papers out and enjoyed being my little student for a little while.
Blessings,
Lesya

  1. i think andrew and my little sister could be really good friends. she always sings about Jesus! its so cute because she makes up the songs on the spot, and sometimes even plays along on the piano. good idea writing the lyrics down..i think im going to do that. once again- siblings are the best people in the world
