Happenings...

Hi all! 

I'm having a "I don't know what to title this post kind of blogging moment" but anyways a few things...

The other day I asked Leah to sleep with me. She said, "no I don't want to sleep with you. I am going to sleep with Mommy." So I pretended to cry. She left the room and came back and said "you can sleep with her." Clever I thought. Very clever. Today after not being home literally all day I came in the house around 9:30 and asked her if she missed me. "No," she said. 

I'm back to eating healthy and drinking lots of water. The semester brings back a lot of "norms" in my life that aren't there during breaks. This was part of my dinner today at school.

I finally had a dinner date with Prachi. I haven't talked to her in what seems like forever. We met Freshman year and since then have stayed friends. I asked her if it was okay to take a picture for my blog because I like to remember these things. She didn't mind :) 

Tonight I got home and planned on getting a bit of homework done but then an aunt calls and wants you to order her things online and you do it with a smile on your face. When she tells you how great full she is and blesses you, you realize it was all worth that 30 min of "your time." Then you have a long conversation with your Mom about your day and her's (and the kids') and you decide that although your night was spent differently it was a blessing and something that should be cherished.

Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my cousin TARAS! He is one of a kind and such a wonderful addition to our family!! We love you Taras, don't you ever forget that. (I did tell him that today so hopefully he didn't forget!)
