Blogging, Ironing, Contentment

Hi friends!

First of all it seems so many are joining this "blogging community" from church friends/family. I think it's very cool and love reading everyone's blogs! I'm not much of a commenter but I do read everybody's blogs and do enjoy every one of them! They are all so unique (and good!) in their own ways.

So...
Besides hanging out with friends, such as Tuesday night at Irina Y's house, I have been trying to be productive around the house!

So a major "project" I am tackling is:

 You got it: Ironing!
This is Nick's dress shirt (I don't wear such "pretty" colors) in fact the ironing is basically all of the brothers' clothes...so why am I doing it? I don't know.

Anyway I always hated ironing but now that I have a pile in my room along with the ironing board I've seriously learned to enjoy it...especially if I'm listening to an audio book as I go. By the way, our family has so much ironing. I mean, it 's never ending.

Moving on...
Anyway last night in my mind I started complaining. I mean really complaining: like why this why that etc. etc. It is so easy to start complaining but not so easy to be content always. This morning I woke and felt so ashamed. I feel I should not only be content but praise God for his abundance of goodness to me! Weirdly enough earlier today I found a book online about this. It is highly recommended so I am going to order and if it is "good" I'll share it with y'all.

Anyway, something "new" I did this week was music with the preschoolers. They basically have someone come in every month to play for them and this month I did it. I had such a good time and I hope the kids did as well!

Blessings,
Lesya
