Hello all!
Although I don't have much time, I wanted to hop on here to say how the past few days went. It was the Syracuse conference over the weekend. I came on Sunday, and it was great...God is so good to us. One thing I will always remember is our drive home, and having to suffer because of the air conditioner. I mean, it got cold!!! But, we couldn't turn it off because the windows would fog up. It was pure torture. Plus, we left late and it was thundering and lightning but we arrived home safely.
Monday was memorial day, and I decided to go to Hamlin beach and hang wit family, since the previous year I did not. It was fun and exciting as I like to say. Took pictures but I'm at a stage where I am really debating whether I'd like to continue to put pictures on this blog...
Then I went to church. It was after 4, but still had a good time. The sermon at the end was great. You always learn something new. For example, I never realized how much of a human's mind actually controls the person (and their future). I thank God that he has protected me from so much bad. The phrase "must of been nice..." was used occasionally quite frequently between Angela and myself. I will also remember a phrase she told me, "out of all the people, you are like the only one that hadn't given up on me." God puts people in our lives for a reason.
Also my baby cousin was born last week and I still haven't seen him! I am ashamed. I feel bad because I have no idea what my aunt is thinking! We're pretty close and for me not to have seem her baby already is just pathetic, or so I say. I am just so... like never home. Always busy.
This morning I went to the preschool. We were practicing for their graduations, and I already almost started crying. I am going to miss them! Kids grow on you, even if you see them twice a week! I can't imagine what it'll be like what I let my own kids go in June (when I'm a teacher). After I went to my first day of summer class. Ugh. It was good though. I'll be fine, but it is still school. I ran some errands like paid a cellphone bill, stopped by Wegmans, helped Lena with her science fair project, and then went to the Hilton High School to rate the senior projects, it was great! Definitely will do it again next year. So, its almost 10 and I need to do some t-shirt orders right now, so I can send them out tomorrow.
Tomorrow will consist of readings for my class, then class, then the first day of my MCC nutrition class. So I leave at 12:30 and will get home at 10 pm. And, wait. It's summer break? Oh yea, it is. I'll just keep reminding myself.
Blessings,
Lesya
P.S. Happy First Day of June tomorrow if I don't post!

WOW!
ReplyDeleteYou're a busy girl!:) find a calm moment whenever you can during your busy summer break and with college.
God's Blessings always!
I will miss you when i'm in Ukraine!
See you in a little bit...
Irina
Aww you're so cute Lesya. I know the feeling of being busy. Unfortunately. I also can relate with having to remind yourself that it's summer break (already). "Must be nice," to those who truly are free. I'm finishing up a class still, and my worst one (math) ...YUCK. Anyways, it's always a pleasure reading (and relating) with you! I think you SHOULD post pictures. Only your friends are going to look anyways. I say, do it :) Alrighty, be blessed.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you in Ukraine, Ira!
ReplyDeleteLuba, thanks for reading!
